It appears Cycle 24 has begun to spark up a bit. Yesterday a small M-class flare fired off from sunspot region 1153 which was just rotating around the Sun’s western limb.
Two coronal holes have also opened up currently off-center closer to the eastern limb.
As you see from the photo above, several sunspot regions have broken out showing seven regions on the Earth-side, and two on the Sun’s far-side. It’s a little too early to tell of the magnetic force effects on Earth. Stay Tuned ……………..
